A well structured 100% Chardonnay from a great vintage. White gold colour with pale green lemon highlights, prolonged fine bead and mousse. A clean citrus nose with hints of melon, cucumber and orange blossom. Clean, long finish.

Anthony has produced three excellent wines and one cider which are a pleasure to taste. Blackboys only produce on average 10,000 bottles of wine each year and so are typical of a small batch producer. These wines offer a refined and considered selection of English wines which belie the age of this relatively young vineyard.
